About Me ... and my plans for the TRAVELOGUEreloaded

I've spent a lot of time in my life travelling - friends even say I get fidgety if my bags aren't packed for the next trip at all times. I've travelled multiple continents (across Europe, northern Africa, East & Southeast Asia, North and South America ... and, during these travels, I have written notes, taken photographs, drawn sketches – but I have never managed to compile all of these into one single (digital) source. So: here I go!

What to Expect ...

Well, maybe it's easier to describe what not to expect: this is not going to be a SeeMeHere! page for people obsessed with their own popularity, nor will it lead social media influencers (and wanna-be influencers) to the hottest party locations.

This Travelogue is to be ... well, a bit more refined.

When I travel, I dig into the history of the country and the people: their culture and customs, their food, their architecture, their language – so it only makes sense to expect that here if the future travelogue entries.

So ... where was I?

Ah, yes: about me.

I'm erudite, eloquent, and often quite sarcastic – but never arrogant. Well, never intentionally.

I drink more coffee than some smaller nations .... if tea, then preferably Oolong.

And I am more of a wine person than a beer drinker.

• Whites - more Sancerre than Bordeaux

• Reds - more Amarone than Cabernet

I'm more Jazz than Classical, but more Classical than HipHop or Techno. I am convinced music stopped being good (with very few exceptions) around 1989 (yep: I'm a pure-bred GenX 80's fan!)

I'm a Capricorn, Libra asc. ... Love (very) dry Vodka Martinis and Pisco Sours ... Add to this really good food and some great friends and I'm fine....
